12m EVABarrier® Beer and CO2 Hose - 5 mm ID x 8 mm OD (13/64" ID x 5/16" OD)

With an inner diameter of 5 mm (13/64") and an outer diameter of 8 mm (5/16"), this hose provides optimal flow resistance for dispensing lines of approximately 3-4 meters. For shorter dispensing lines, a hose with an inner diameter of 4 mm is recommended.

Manufactured by KegLand in Australia, EVABarrier® tubing is renowned for its 2-layer design that ensures exceptional diffusion tightness. The outer layer is made of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA), a flexible and robust plastic material that can withstand bending without collapsing. The inner layer consists of proprietary polymers that prevent CO2 leakage and oxygen penetration, preserving the quality of your beer.

Assembly tips:

• Heat the hose in hot water and use pointed pliers to expand the hose before installing it on the hose nipple.
• Fits perfectly with Duotight and John Guest quick couplings that have 8 mm or 5/16" connections.

Pressure tolerance:

• At 30°C: 200 psi / 1.4 MPa
• At 50°C: 100 psi / 0.7 MPa

Conversion from inches to millimeters:

• 3/8" is a little less than 10 mm
• 5/16" is the same as 8 mm
• 1/4" is a little more than 6 mm
