Features Very special Belgian dark malt, obtained through a specific double roasting process.
Features Used to produce a deep red to dark brown-black color and fuller body. Unique flavor and aroma. Adds lots of color and raisin-like flavor. Gives a rich malt flavor and a hint of nutty and plum flavor. Can replace chocolate and black malts if bitterness is not desired.
Use Abbey beers, dubbel beers, porters, brown beers, doppelbocks. Up to 10% of the mixture.
