Description:
The FermZilla 60L All Rounder is a versatile fermentation tank that allows for pressure fermentation, forced carbonation, and serving from the same tank. It has more uses than the FermZilla Flat Bottom, while being more affordable and competing well with the FermZilla Conical.
This fermentation tank is made of transparent PET with a smooth surface and has a large 120 mm lid on top, making it very easy to clean. The tank can also be placed upside down in the stand for efficient emptying after cleaning.
The tank is pressure tested up to 2.4 bar, making it suitable for fermentation under pressure and forced carbonation directly with CO2. By using the Pressure Kit and a hose set for closed transfer, the beer can be transferred to Cornelius kegs completely oxygen-free, which significantly increases the quality of the beer. You can also choose to serve directly from the fermentation tank.
The FermZilla 60L All Rounder is completely transparent, so you can monitor the fermentation process and sedimentation, for example when cold-crashing.
Important information:
- The tank must not be filled with liquid hotter than 50°C, as the plastic may deform.
- All tanks are pressure tested before shipment. It is recommended to retest the tank after 2 years.
- The tank is delivered pressure tested from the factory with a stamped date. Once this date has passed, the tank must be pressure tested again for safe use under pressure. Please note that the FermZilla tank may be delivered with a short time remaining from the factory pressure testing.
- See instructions for hydro-testing here.
Cleaning:
When cleaning with chemclean or similar detergents containing Sodium Metasilicate, it is important not to exceed the contact time of 20 minutes. Optimal effect is achieved after 10 minutes, and longer time may damage the plastic. This applies to all types of PET fermentation vessels.
